GymBud - White-Label Fitness Coaching Platform
What started as a focused retention MVP became a connected white-label SaaS ecosystem for coaches: native client apps, marketplace discovery, subscriptions, branded email, bilingual product surfaces, video classes, and automated operations.
The Evolution
V1 - Focused MVP
Tested the core behavior through a PWA with AI-assisted workout generation, onboarding, retention loops, and model-cost controls.
V2 - Coach platform
Moved beyond the experiment into coach operations: dashboard, client management, workout programming, check-ins, exercise libraries, and the first payment paths.
V3 - Native apps
Rebuilt the client experience in Flutter for iOS, Android, and web, with workout execution, push notifications, offline-aware flows, and a more durable app architecture.
V4 - White-label marketplace
Expanded into white-label branding, coach discovery, Stripe Connect and Asaas, video classes, bilingual product surfaces, and automated operating workflows.
What We Built
White-label business OS
Coaches control colors, logos, gradients, plan names, app presentation, marketplace profile, and the client-facing experience for their brand.
Native client apps
Flutter-built iOS, Android, and web client apps with workout execution, push notifications, offline-aware UX, and set-by-set logging.
Coach marketplace
Public coach discovery with categories, search, filters, individual landing pages, and conversion paths into paid coaching plans.
Payment operations
Stripe Connect for international payments and Asaas for Brazil, including platform fees, subscription flows, webhooks, and operational recovery paths.
Content and video classes
Cloudflare Stream integration for coach content, HLS/DASH playback, and a structured library across training, nutrition, mobility, yoga, pilates, and more.
Internationalization
EN-US and PT-BR support across web, mobile, notifications, and email templates so the same product can serve US and Brazilian markets.
Automation layer
Scheduled workflows coordinate reminders, subscription health, payment events, stale tasks, notifications, and product lifecycle nudges.
Coach administration
Dashboards for programs, students, check-ins, progress, plan management, video libraries, payments, and brand settings.
Production support loops
The platform includes logging, retryable payment paths, webhook reconciliation, template governance, and release-ready environment separation.
Platform Scale
The product, operating, systems, and governance layers that had to become coherent.

What changed after the MVP
The real product was the operating system around the app
Start narrow enough to prove behavior, then rebuild the architecture before the MVP hardens into the product ceiling.
Payments, notifications, templates, and scheduled jobs become core product infrastructure once coaches rely on the platform for revenue.
White-label SaaS is not just theme settings. It changes onboarding, support, marketplace positioning, billing, and every client-facing message.
A marketplace only works when supply operations and coach administration are treated as seriously as the public discovery experience.
